WORK PERMIT
There are 2 types of work permits
1. The open work permit
2. Employer-specific work permit

The open work permit allows the applicant work for any employer in Canada. You can only get an open work permit in specific situations.
​
The employer-specific work permit allows you to work for a specific employer with an approved Labor Market Impact Assessment which you must include in your application.
